About
Unique in Valencia and located in a singular place: the ancient Chapel of the Stone Saints (Saint Abdon and Saint Senent, patron saints and protectors of crops) was built on a promontory in the eighteenth century. From ther you’ll enjoy the vastness of rice fields and the Albufera Natural Park, following the changes in landscape that rice fields go through during the year.
The church was completely restored and the dwelling in the hermit became a museum exhibition about the historic origin and traditional process of rice cultivation, being rice such an important product in the region of Valencia. There you’ll fin old photographs, documents and an ethnological collection of tools, equipment and clothing related with rice and traditions.
